Carter's: Things you can count on. 100,000 Ways to Help Mothers and Children in Need.
You can Count on Carter's to help kids, because Carter's believes that childhood should be a celebration. Carter's looks for opportunities to nurture and protect children and to build communities in which children can thrive, focusing on those needs where our strengths and resources are best able to bring about meaningful and positive change. Whether it's providing clean and comfortable clothing, sending volunteers into classrooms, or empowering children to help other children in need, Carter's works to make children's lives easier so that they can be free to do what they do best – be kids.
In celebration of Mother's Day, Carter's has announced their 100,000 Ways to Help Mothers and Children in Need Campaign and partnership with Save the Children's Early Childhood Education Program — Early Steps to School Success — which gives less fortunate Moms in America the best Mother's Day gift of all, the support and education they need to give their babies a better start on life.
From April 27th through May 12th, donate to Save the Children's Early Childhood Education Program, Early Steps to School Success and Carter's will match your donations during this time up to $100,000.00.
Save the Children's Early Steps to School Success program lays a critical foundation of language and literacy skills for children from birth to age 5, so they can enter school ready to succeed. Through home visits, book exchanges, parenting groups, and an emphasis on transition to school, Early Steps staff helps children with language, social and emotional development, and equips parents and caregivers with the skills to successfully support children's growth.
